In 2003 From Almost The End (F.A.T.E) formed from 5 friends who shared the same passion and enthusiasm for music.Taking influences from an eclectic range of music, the band quickly found their own original sound, impressing listeners with soaring melodies and infectious harmonies layered over a powerful, brutal background and alongside vocals ranging from a full attack to the intimate and penetrating.
In February 2004 F.A.T.E teamed up with producer/live engineer Neak (FFAF, Hondo Maclean, Sikth) to record their debut E.P. Fighting The Urge. Having developed their style further F.A.T.E completed their second E.P. From Almost The End in November 2004.
September 2005 has seen the band recording their 3rd E.P Surgery and Progress (with Neak) with new material that has already gained recognition during live performances and demonstrates their development both as a band and as songwriters/musicians.
The launch of the 2005 E.P. has resulted in a series of amazing sell out shows and an overwhelming response to the new material. The band have played venues across the country, including London venues like the Underworld and Garage.
The bands are currently promoting their music across the UK making a big impression on the industry with their collective enthusiasm, live stage presence, new material and fresh and distinctive sound.
The end of 2005 has proved to be a pivotal point for F.A.T.E with the E.P. receiving a fantastic response on Total Rock Radio, 4QRadio, Autopsy Radio and other digital independents. They gained opportunity to play events such as Code Red @ Electrowerkz and Rock the City @ The Garage.
